Casa de la Milleflores is a fabulous spacious home that is perfect for those special occasions and family reunions when you need to cater for all age groups and tastes.

On entering Milleflores to your left is a small library and 2 of the bedrooms ... the first is a twin bedded room (beds are placed together) with an ensuite shower room. The second is a superb large bright and airy bedroom with an amazing Venetian style double bed; this room also benefits from its own large south facing private terrace. This bedroom also has a bathroom with a shower in the bath. Going back to the entrance ... on your right is a spacious lounge & dining area with a compact but fully fitted kitchen ... this area is perfect for taking breakfast on the south facing terrace which overlooks the pool. Continuing past here are two more twin bedded rooms that share a bathroom and the spacious master bedroom with a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom.

All the above rates are for a maximum of ten guests + an infant in a cot (crib) and include: weekly maid service, pool maintenance, all linen/towels (except beach towels) and a welcome pack. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before occupation.

Spacious and luxurious accommodation

From the 1st floor down a flight of stairs leads to a reception area and the new modern well equipped main kitchen ... this is complete with electric oven, hobs (stove top) and griddle, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster etc. Continuing through the kitchen leads to the second spacious lounge with dining area. The lounge has a TV, SKY satellite (limited channels, free to view pack: BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, ITV2, Ch4, SKY news etc), DVD player and a cd/radio cassette player. This lounge has large patio windows which leads directly to the pool area which has a bbq and a lovely shaded dining area.

Great care has been taken in the furnishing & decoration of this unique home by its discerning owners; an eclectic mix of quality modern furniture, ethnic antiques (including a 'suit of lights') and objects d'art make for a fascinating home.


All the bathrooms & shower-rooms are recently re-furbished with extensive use of marble and superior fittings. All the accommodation is fully air-conditioned with the exception of the apartment which normally stays naturally cool but fans are also provided.

The pool area is private, not overlooked and has fabulous views of the Sierra de Mijas mountains in the distance; comfortable sunbeds are provided and there is a shaded dining area next to the poolside bbq. At the side of the house is a very private tranquil shaded courtyard, a lovely area in which to relax, read a book or contemplate the week ahead. The tropical gardens are well tended and cared for and include some large and interesting specimens of cacti and sculpture!

Casa de la Milleflores is located in the foothills of Mijas Costa at Sierrezuela, about 5 minutes from Fuengirola town and its beaches and around 15 minutes from the picturesque Andalucian village of Mijas where you will find many charming shops and restaurants - perfect for that early evening stroll. La Cala de Mijas (8 km) is a seaside village, again with many restaurants, (including one of my favourites - Mijas Playa), a few shops and a lovely beach. A short distance inland is La Cala golf and country club; several more courses including Miraflores, Mijas golf, Santa Maria, Rio Real etc are all within a 15-minute drive. Sophisticated Marbella with its designer shops and jet-set Puerto Banus (the best place to people watch!) are only a 25-minute drive.


Casa de la Milleflores is also well situated for those seeking a cultural holiday ... the drive to the historic town of Ronda is one not to be missed, and the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada is an interesting 2 hour drive. Cordoba and Sevilla are also both easily accessible with a hire car or by coach.
