The school opens with 200 students from 20 different countries. We employ a foreign faculty of 30, from New Zealand, Canada, Australia, America, South Africa, and Britain, and a Chinese faculty of 6. All year grades are taught separately. A professional ESL department supports development of English language skills. The School Board identifies a permanent site for the new school building, and begins the process of construction

The British School of Nanjing
The British School of Nanjing will be opening its Junior School and Primary School campus in August 2007.
Following the success of the British Schools of Beijing and Guangzhou , the school will incorporate a strict admissions policy and will continue to promote the highest levels of academic achievement. Nanjing No.1 Kindergarten which was found in 1949 is the largest and earliest kindergarten in Nanjing. You can have your child in boarding nursery or day care here.
